Before putting cables into work, there are two key replacement parts, one is the transportation process and the other is the storage process. Why is it said that these two processes are crucial? Because if the storage and transportation methods are not correct, it will directly damage the quality of the cables, thereby reducing the safety and service life of the two years of use. So, what are the precautions to be taken in the transportation and storage of cables?

1. Generally, cables are purchased in large quantities, so cables that are not currently in use are usually stored in warehouses. However, the environment for storing cables must be careful and kept away from acidic or alkaline liquids, as these corrosive substances can damage the cables once they come into contact with them. Therefore, if these substances are present in the warehouse, they must be isolated and stored.
2. Some warehouses may contain gases that can corrode metals or damage insulation materials, which is also something to pay special attention to when storing cables.
3. Cables, like film, are very afraid of direct sunlight. Exposure to sunlight can accelerate the aging of cables. Therefore, when storing cables, it is important not to place them in an environment exposed to sunlight, and it is also best not to lay the cable reel flat. There are probably two reasons for this. Firstly, it is best to have a certain distance between the cable and the baffle on both sides of the reel, otherwise it is easy to cause nails to wear the cable. Secondly, it may cause confusion in the cable arrangement and affect the quality of the cable.

4. Don't just leave cables in the warehouse and let them go. It's best to go to the warehouse regularly to roll the inventory cables. Rolling means flipping the cable reels one by one, originally facing downwards, to avoid prolonged exposure to ground moisture. Especially in summer, when it is rainy and humid, rolling should be done regularly, at least once every three months. Other seasons can depend on the warehouse environment. If the humidity in the warehouse is high, rolling should be done more frequently,
5. Cable storage also has a shelf life, and it is recommended to limit the storage time to one and a half years, with a maximum of two years.
6. During transportation, it is important to handle with care, strictly adhere to high-altitude throwing and throwing operations, as this can easily cause the sheath to crack
