Shenghua Cable requires multiple processes to complete. All cables start with the processing of conductors, and then operate step by step around the conductors until they are finally assembled. After completion, there are also very complex and diverse testing processes. Only fully qualified cables will be delivered to customers by Shenghua Cable.

The manufacturing of cables can be roughly divided into the following steps:
1. Wire drawing
Wire drawing is the process of using a wire drawing machine to pass copper or aluminum materials through multiple stretching molds in a normal temperature environment, making their length longer and strength higher. This is the primary and necessary process for all cable production.
2. Annealing
Here, copper or aluminum single wires are heated at high temperatures and then crystallized to improve the toughness of the material, in order to meet the requirements of the cable. The most important thing in the process is to prevent single wire oxidation.
3. Stranding
In order to improve the flexibility of cables, when manufacturing cables, multiple wire cores are twisted, and the forms of twisting are also classified into various types, such as bundle twisting, concentric compound twisting, special twisting, etc. This also facilitates the later laying and installation of cables.
4. Insulation extrusion
This is also a crucial step in the manufacturing of many cables, including Shenghua Cable. Plastic cables mainly use extruded solid insulation layers, and the main technical requirements for plastic insulation extrusion include eccentricity, smoothness, density, etc.
5. Cable formation
For multi-core cables, in order to ensure formability and reduce cable shape, it is generally necessary to twist them into a circular shape. The mechanism of stranding is similar to that of conductor stranding, and due to the large diameter of the stranding section, most methods are used without reverse twisting.
The technical requirements for cable formation are as follows: firstly, to prevent the twisting and bending of cables caused by the flipping of irregular insulated wire cores; The second is to prevent the insulation layer from being scratched.
Most cables are completed with the completion of two additional processes during cable formation: one is filling, ensuring the roundness and stability of the cables after cable formation; One is binding to ensure that the cable core is not loose.
6. Inner protective layer
The function of the inner protective layer is to protect the insulation wire core. The structure of the inner protective layer is generally divided into extruded inner protective layer (isolation sleeve) and wrapped inner protective layer (cushion layer)
7. Armor
This type of cable should be armored when needed. Some cables may need to withstand external pressure during installation, and armored cables are more suitable
8. Outer sheath
The outer sheath is a crucial link to isolate the outside and the inside of the cable, and its function is very important. It not only needs to be resistant to chemical corrosion, moisture, water immersion, but also has the ability to prevent cable combustion. Therefore, this final step is also crucial.

Of course, after the above steps, only the cable has been manufactured. Before the cable is delivered, there are still many testing steps that need to be taken. Click on the blue text below to see what the testing procedures for the cable are
