On November 7th, the GEHaliadeX12MW test prototype located in Rotterdam, Netherlands, successfully sent out its first electricity, which is a milestone for the new energy field as it is currently the largest installed discharge unit in the world.

This set of test prototypes is from GE Renewable Energy Company, which was acquired by over 500 employees after a year and a half of day and night.
GE has revealed that the second prototype is being assembled at a factory in France and will soon be shipped to the UK for testing. In the past six months, GE has gained countless recognition worldwide through offshore wind turbines, and multiple countries from the East and West have cooperated with them.
On May 15th, a Brazilian company announced that it will choose the Haliade-X12MW model for the first offshore wind farm AsaBranca Phase I 720MW project in China, instead of the previously selected MHIVestas 9.5MW offshore wind turbine.
On May 17th, Swedish utility company Great Falls announced that the 750MW offshore wind power project in Dunkirk, France, which participated in the bidding, will use GE's newly launched 12MW units.
On September 21st, Woxu announced that its SkipjackMid Atlantic projects located on the east coast of New Jersey, USA, with a capacity of 1100MW Ocean Wind and 120MW in Maryland, USA, will use a total of 100 GE12MW units. The projects are expected to start production in 2024 and 2022, respectively.
On October 6th, the developer of the 1200MW LoggerBank offshore wind farm in the UK announced an agreement with GE Renewable Energy, which will become the preferred wind turbine supplier for the project, providing 12MW of wind turbines.

In recent years, China's investment in new and renewable energy has also been increasing. China has a long coastline and windy provinces such as Xinjiang, which are the best places for wind power generation. Therefore, China has the advantage of favorable timing and location in developing wind energy
Europe is the world's leader in wind power generation, with 70% of the world's offshore wind energy coming from Europe. Therefore, China is also actively cooperating with Europe.
On November 6th, China's large power generation company Guodian Investment signed a cooperation agreement with GE to introduce GEHaliade-X12MW wind turbines. As early as July 12th this year, GE had signed an agreement with the Jieyang Municipal Government to establish a final assembly base locally and produce 12MW units.
In addition to collaborating and learning from industry leaders, China is also constantly developing itself. New energy is the main theme of future development, and mastering leading technologies in new energy can make China more competitive in the future.
